Dear Parent,

Nightingale House are organising a fundraising scheme to raise money for Florence House Hospice - your child’s house charity at The Cooper School.

Our idea is to travel the distance from Bicester to Florence in Italy which is 809 miles. Each tutor group collectively is aiming to travel 62 miles each, which works out an average of 3 miles per student! If students are able to do more then that would be fantastic.

Students are required to log the miles they travel either by walking, running or cycling on a Google document which can be found via the Nightingale House blog on The Cooper School blog directory. Parents and students can also follow progress of this project via our twitter feed (@NightingaleTCS).

To start the ball rolling, we would like to walk around Bicester to begin logging miles with a group of students and staff on Thursday 18^th April 2013 from 15:20 until 16:30.

If your child wishes to take part in this fantastic event, please fill in the permission slip found at the bottom of this letter and return it no later than Tuesday 16^th April.
